David Pappenhagen is a brand designer with over 15 years of studio and in-house creative experience.
David grew up drawing and crafting to satisfy his creative drive. He even bested his fellow elementary-aged creatives by winning the local Albertson’s coloring contests more than a few times, dutifully saving the $25 winnings to spend on baseball memorabilia and GI-Joes.
After obtaining a BFA in Communication Design from the University of North Texas, he lived and worked in Portland, Oregon before moving back to Austin, Texas and settling into its creative scene.
Never content with the status-quo, he strives to buck convention—looking at design problems from all angles to discover unexpected solutions.
When not playing the Visual Bard, he enjoys the contagious curiosity of his toddler, woodworking, baking, and finding free diamonds in the rough on craigslist.
